2013 Nutrition Month Celebration

May 6, 2013 DOF MEMORANDUM TO : All Revenue Officials and Employees Concerned SUBJECT : 2013 Nutrition Month Celebration The National Nutrition Council will spearhead the 39th Nutrition Month celebration this July. The theme for the celebration is "Gutom at malnutrisyon, sama-sama nating wakasan!" to increase awareness on hunger issues and actions to mitigate hunger and malnutrition, encourage the stakeholders to contribute to addressing hunger issues and advocate for stronger political action and to end hunger. In view thereof, all concerned are hereby encouraged to participate in the campaign and undertake support activities, such as but not limited to the following: DHaEAS 1. Integrate hunger mitigation in your office's plans and programs 2. Conducts seminars and orientations for employees focusing on hunger issues and how they, as individual can contribute to mitigating hunger and malnutrition 3. Disseminate information about hunger and malnutrition through your website, regional and agency web pages, newsletters, bulletin boards and other IEC materials, and 4. Print and hung Nutrition Month 2013 streamers in strategic places and distribute flyers to employees and other target audience. All Agency heads and regional offices are hereby directed to cause the widest dissemination of this Memo in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
