Proposed Rationalization of Communication Expense Allocated for BIR Officials

Lumagui, Jr. SUBJECT : Proposed Rationalization of Communication Expense Allocated for BIR Officials This refers to the Monthly Individual Consumer Mobile Phone Subscription Plan of BIR Officials in the National and Regional Offices per approved Memorandum dated September 23, 2019 of CIR Caesar R. Dulay. For the past years, BIR Officials were given the option to subscribe to their preferred telecommunication provider in an amount corresponding to their designation. The monthly telephone bill is being paid personally by the said official and thereafter, reimbursed by the BIR in the form of communication expense allowance. Tamina, Finance Service. In view thereof, a proposed Rationalization of Communication Expense Allocated for BIR Officials in the National and Regional Offices is hereby recommended.
