September 27, 2016 DOF MEMORANDUM FOR : All Heads of DOF Offices, Bureaus and Attached Agencies (See Distribution List) SUBJECT : Disaster Preparedness Manual The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has provided this Department, and its Attached Bureaus and Agencies a copy of the Disaster Preparedness Manual for reference in your respective office's capacity development interventions. As the Vice-Chair for Disaster Preparedness in the DRMM Act of 2010, DILG started Operation LISTO last 2014, an advocacy of the DILG which aims to better prepare the communities for upcoming disasters. In line with this initiative, DILG provides DOF the Disaster Preparedness Checklists which contain minimum procedures on the courses of action to be done by LCEs before, during and after the occurrence of disasters and calamities in their respective areas or communities. Attached is the Disaster Preparedness Manual for reference and cascading to your respective staff.
