DIMAANDAL Director IV MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 15 July 28, 2011 ENJOINING ALL APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO SUPPORT THE PHILIPPINES' HOSTING OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK TO BE HELD IN MANILA ON MAY 2 TO 5, 2012 There is hereby created an Executive Committee to take charge of the coordination, preparation and arrangement for the hosting of the 45th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila from 2-5 May 2012, composed of the following: Secretary of Finance or Chairman his representative Representative from the Bangko Co-Chairman Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Representative from the Department Co-Chairman of Tourism (DOT) Representative from the Department of Member Budget and Management (DBM) Representative from the Department of Member Trade and Industry (DTI) Representative from the Department of Member Foreign Affairs (DFA) Representative from the Department of the Member Interior and Local Government (DILG) Representative from the Department of Member Transportation and Communications (DOTC) The Executive Committee shall have the following functions and responsibilities: (a) Coordinate the planning, preparations and arrangements for the event; EAaHTI (b) Make all necessary decisions pertaining to the event; (c) Form sub-committees for the effective implementation of the activities; and (d) Perform such powers and functions as may be necessary to ensure the success of the event. The Executive Committee shall identify and evaluate existing and relevant facilities and infrastructure to determine their present state or condition and direct the concerned government agencies to adopt and implement measures for the immediate improvement, renovation and rehabilitation of such facilities and infrastructure for the event, as may be necessary. The Secretary of Finance is hereby granted full power and authority to form and head the Executive Committee that will oversee and make all necessary decisions in relation to the hosting of the aforementioned meeting. All other government agencies are hereby directed to cooperate with the Executive Committee and provide full support to activities related to the 45th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the ADB.
