SANTIAGO Director IV Central Administration Office ATTACHMENT Office of the President of the Philippines Malacaang Memorandum from the Executive Secretary To : All Heads of Departments, Bureaus and Agencies of the National/Local Governments Including Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), Government Financial Institutions (GFIs), and All Other Concerned Subject : Various Requests for Authority to Renew Casual/Contractual Employees (2) Date : May 27, 2011 As enunciated in the undersigned's Memorandum dated 9 March 2011 with the abovementioned subject, your authority to approve or disapprove any request for renewal of appointment or contracts of casual/contractual employees whose appointments/contracts may have expired or will expire, shall not go beyond 30 June 2011 . Thus, appointments or contracts of your casual/contractual employees may be renewed, whenever necessary, for a period of six (6) more months, or from 1 July-31 December 2011. The renewal should be done on or before 30 June 2011. It is understood, however, that renewed contracts or appointments shall cease to be effective upon the approval of your Rationalization Plan. This authority shall be subject to the conditions listed in the Guidelines Implementing Memorandum Circular No. 1 and the conditions stipulated in the undersigned's 9 March 2011 Memorandum.
