May 29, 2017 DOF MEMORANDUM TO : All DOF Attached Bureaus and Agencies Heads of Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations SUBJECT : Increase Security Measures in Government Offices Pursuant to President Rodrigo Duterte's Proclamation No. 216 dated May 23, 2017, declaring Martial Law in Mindanao due to the recent and ongoing attacks of the Maute group in Marawi City, this Department takes very seriously the safety and security of its employees. All attached agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) under this Department are hereby ordered to tighten and exercise increased security measures in their respective offices, especially those located in Mindanao, as the government continues to maximize its efforts to safeguard peace, order and stability in the said region.
