May 28, 1990 DOF LOCAL FINANCE CIRCULAR NO. 02-90 SUBJECT : Issuance of Copies of Tax Declarations Covering Properties Affected by the Road Construction Projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways TO : All City and Municipal Assessors of Metropolitan Manila There is quoted hereunder a letter dated February 28, 1990 of the Honorable Secretary of Public Works and Highways, relative to the acquisition of road right-of-way for road construction projects, to wit: "In connection with our activities related to the acquisition of road right-of-way for our road construction projects, one of the documents needed is the Tax Declaration of Real Property. "It is towards the early and expeditious gathering of copies of tax declarations that we would request your goodself to please issue instructions to the City and Municipal Assessors of Metro Manila to accord preferential attention to the request of our engineering offices for copies of Tax Declarations of Properties affected by our project in Metro Manila." cd Accordingly, all City and Municipal Assessors of Metropolitan Manila are hereby enjoined to extend preferential attention to the requests of the DPWH Engineering Offices for issuance of copies of tax declarations covering properties affected by the road construction projects in Metro Manila of said Department.
