December 17, 2015 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 114-15 Pursuant to Civil Service Commission (CSC)-Memorandum Circular No. 19, s. 2012, the Department shall conduct its Flag Raising Ceremony every Monday morning at 8:00am and Flag Lowering Ceremony every Friday at 4:30pm. If regular or special holidays fall on Mondays and Fridays, flag raising shall be moved to the next working day while flag lowering shall be held on the last working day of the week. The heads of the assigned DOF Groups are tasked with assigning personnel from their respective Groups and Offices to act as leaders for the following during the Ceremonies: Recitation of Prayer Singing of Lupang Hinirang Recitation of Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas Recitation of DOF Credo Inspirational Message In addition, they shall ensure the attendance of their personnel including those availing of the flexitime schedule, and encourage active participation especially on assigned dates of hosting. Additional 1 day Compensatory Day Off shall be granted to an employee who has consistently earned perfect attendance at the flag lowering ceremonies for a period of 6 consecutive months. Likewise, employees who will be able to earn perfect attendance to both the flag raising and flag lowering ceremonies for the year shall be featured in the DOF Newsletter and shall be granted 3 days stay for free at the newly renovated DOF Cottage House with their families pursuant to Sec. VII.7.8 of PRAISE. Aside from that, they shall also be entitled to monetary benefit of P2,000.00. CAIHTE This Order shall take effect January 1, 2016 and all concerned shall be guided accordingly.
