Authorizing Certain DOF Officials and Personnel to Travel to Davao City for the 2014 Philippine Development Forum in Mindanao

October 17, 2014 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 078-14 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16) In the interest of the service and in connection with the forthcoming 2014 Philippines Development Forum in Mindanao, focusing on the Bangsamoro Process, hosted by the Republic through the Department of Finance (DOF) on November 5-6 November 2014 in Davao City, Philippines, the following officials and personnel are hereby authorized to travel to Davao City for the period opposite their name: DOF Officials: 1. Cruz - 2-8 November 2014 The above-named officials and personnel shall coordinate all the necessary logistical and substantive preparations, arrangements and implementations for the said event starting from 2-8 November 2014. All travels of the abovementioned officials and personnel shall likewise be on official time and they shall be entitled to travelling expenses to cover airfare, meals, incidental expenses, actual hotel accommodation, supplies and materials, and other expenses incurred in connection to the aforementioned event chargeable against the budget released for this purpose and/or from the budget of the Department. They shall likewise be provided with communication allowance in the amount of One Thousand Pesos (PhP1,000.00) each to be directly deposited to their payroll accounts. CTEacH Further, the above-mentioned personnel whose salary grade is 25 and below shall be authorized to claim and receive non-monetary remuneration for actual overtime service rendered (Compensatory Time-Off), including weekends and holidays starting from 1 October 2014 until 30 November 2014, since they will perform additional assignments other than their regular functions, in accordance with the Civil Service Commission and Department of Budget and Management Joint Circular No. 2 dated 04 October 2004. All orders, issuances and instructions contrary to or inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed, modified or revoked and all concerned shall be guided accordingly.
