Reconstitution of the DOF-BOC-EIIB Personnel Integration Committee

November 6, 2002 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 074-02 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) In the exigencies of the service and pursuant to Executive Order Nos. 223 and 259, Series of 2000, the DOF-BOC-EIIB Personnel Integration Committee (Committee) is hereby partly reconstituted to compose of: Undersecretary INOCENCIO P. FERRER, JR., DOF Chairperson Director PORFIRIO B. VILLENA, JR., DOF Vice Chair Intelligence Officer V PANCHO B. GARONG, DOF Member and two (2) representatives from the Bureau of Customs, preferably of senior rank, to be designated by the Customs Commissioner, the soonest possible time. Under this designation, the Committee shall screen, evaluate, select and recommend the integration of EIIB employees who are qualified to perform functions that will supplement the Bureau of Customs (BOC), especially, the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS) and the Enforcement and Security Services (ESS). cADEHI The selection process to be conducted by the Committee shall be in lieu of the regular selection and promotion proceedings of the BOC Selection and Promotion Board, subject to the verification of personal records of integrees and applicants by the concerned agency. The Personnel Services Division, (PSD), this Department, shall serve as Secretariat of the Committee. All other administrative issuances inconsistent with this Order are hereby revoked.
