November 26, 2013 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 069-13 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) In the exigencies of the service, the following officials are hereby authorized to sign the following documents for and in behalf of the Revenue Integrity Protection Service (RIPS): 1. Documents to be signed by Undersecretary CARLO A. CARAG or Assistant Secretary EPHYRO LUIS B. AMATONG , in the absence or unavailability of the former: a. Investigation Authority for new subjects; b. Letter-requests to various agencies for new subjects; c. Implementation of decisions of the Office of the Ombudsman (OMB), Civil Service Commission (CSC) or other quasi-judicial bodies penalizing employees of the bureaus and attached agencies; d. Obligation Request, Liquidation Report and Proposed/Actual Itinerary of Travel relative to expenses incurred by RIPS personnel in connection with a Department Personnel Order (DPO). 2. Documents to be signed by Deputy Director MARIA BIANCA OFELIA E. SISON: HIAEaC a. Succeeding Investigation Authorities for current subjects, only when the first IA was already approved and signed by the Undersecretary or Assistant Secretary, as the case may be; b. Letter-requests to various agencies for current subjects, only when the first IA was approved and signed by the Undersecretary or Assistant Secretary, as the case may be; c. Memorandum request for issuance of DPO for travels of RIPS personnel outside Metro Manila; d. Compliance on receipt of decisions to the OMB, CSC and courts; e. Letter endorsing RIPS cases for representation to the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG); and f. Ordinary Indorsements to other government agencies when the subject matter is outside the jurisdiction of RIPS (copy furnished the ROLAG). This Order amends Department Order No. 41-2012 dated November 7, 2012, repeals Department Order No. 59-2013 dated November 4, 2013 and modifies all other issuances contrary hereto.
