November 22, 2013 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 067-13 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) In the interest of the service and pursuant to the goal of the Aquino administration to protect revenue integrity, to uproot corruption, tax evasion and smuggling, and to increase the government's tax to GDP ratio to 16% by 2016 to fund the social agenda, the following personnel from the National Tax Research Center (NTRC) are hereby detailed to the Fiscal Intelligence Unit (FIU) created under the Office of the Secretary of Finance per DO No. 52-2013 starting November 25, 2013: 1.Mark Lester L. Aure 2.Eva Marie T. Nejar Furthermore, the above-mentioned personnel are authorized to travel, coordinate and attend meetings, and gather data to fulfil their functions in identifying potential revenue collections and recommending strategic improvements to the attached bureaus. Salaries and allowances (under Personnel Services) of above-named personnel shall be paid from the budget of the NTRC. All expenses incurred in connection with the implementation of the aforementioned activities shall be chargeable against the appropriation of the Department of Finance, including but not limited to travelling expenses, communication expenses subject to the usual budgetary, accounting and auditing rules and regulations. In addition, said personnel shall also be authorized to credit leaves for compensatory time off (CTO) for overtime services rendered as allowed under existing rules and regulations. Daily Time Records (DTRs) shall be approved by the DOF Chief of Staff, their direct supervisor. SECATH This Order shall take effect immediately. (SGD.) CESAR V. PURISIMA Secretary of Finance
