November 4, 2013 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 056-A-13 (SUPPLEMENT TO DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 56-2013) In Department Order No. 56-2013 dated 22 October 2013, this Department requires that it be furnished copies of alert orders issued by the duly authorized officer(s) of the Bureau of Customs. In addition to the requirements prescribed in Department Order No. 56-2013, the alert order should clearly identify the duly authorized officer who issued the alert. The Commissioner of Customs and/or his duly authorized Deputy Commissioner shall submit to this Department a report on the status of the alert order, which shall include the outcome or result of the investigation, within five (5) days from issuance of the alert order. The Commissioner shall ensure strict compliance with this Order. This Order shall take effect immediately. DaTHAc (SGD.) CESAR V. PURISIMA Secretary
