December 20, 2000 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 053-00 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) In connection with the winding-up operation of the Economic Intelligence & Investigation Bureau (EIIB) and the activation of the Central Management Information Office (CMIO), and in the exigencies of facilitating settlements of claims, Assistant Secretary MA . ELEANOR F . DELA CRUZ , and concurrent O-I-C EIIB/CMIO is hereby authorized to approve payments, sign the covering vouchers and checks pertaining to the operations of EIIB/CMIO for the period ending 31 December 2000. Further, the following CMIO appointees are hereby designated to assist in the administrative concerns of the EIIB/CMIO in the following capacities: IO 5 LEON ACUA as Supply Accountable Officer, IO 3 SENEN CASTRO as Budget Officer, IO 3 IMELDA MYERS as Special Disbursing Officer and co-check signatory and IO 3 LEONCIO DE GUZMAN as Accountant. ASEC de la Cruz is hereby authorized to designate other CMIO appointees in support as may be necessary. This Order shall take effect immediately. All concerned shall be guided accordingly. (SGD.)
