September 21, 2000 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO . 047-00 TO : All the Provincial, City and Municipal Treasurers, the Commissioners of the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Bureau of Customs, Heads of All Attached Agencies of the Department of Finance and Heads of All Government-Owned and/or Controlled Corporations SUBJECT : Supplement Department Order No. 11-99 dated 24 February 1999 entitled, "Guidelines for the Depository Accounts of Local Government Units (LGUs), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Bureau of Customs (BOC), attached agencies of the Department of Finance, and Government Owned and/or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) The LGUs, BIR, BOC and attached agencies of the DOF and GOCCs may deposit and maintain their cash balances with the Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) pursuant to the Memorandum from the Office of the President dated 19 August 1999 and as amended on 17 July 2000. PVB's authority as a government depository bank is allowed up to year 2001, subject to annual review thereafter, and in accordance with rules and regulation of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
