Designating Undersecretary Inocencio P. Ferrer, Jr. To Supervise All Concerns Relating to PDIC and UCPB

November 21, 2003 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 046-03 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) In the exigencies of the service, and in order to prevent a vacuum in the various functions and responsibilities of the Department due to the impending movements of the Department's officials, Undersecretary INOCENCIO P . FERRER, JR . shall supervise and represent the Department with respect to all concerns relating to the PHILIPPINE DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION (PDIC), PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK (PNB) and UNITED COCONUT PLANTERS BANK (UCPB) in accordance with the applicable provisions of Section 38, Chapter 7, Book IV of the Administrative Code of 1987 , as further defined under Executive Order No . 251 dated 25 May 2000 , and other relevant laws, rules, regulations, and agreements. In the absence of the Finance Secretary, Undersecretary FERRER, JR . shall, among other responsibilities, represent the Department to the board of directors and steering committees of the abovementioned financial institutions. Undersecretary FERRER, JR . is hereby authorized to request the assistance of all concerned bureaus, agencies, and offices in the performance of his functions and responsibilities. Everyone is enjoin to extend courtesy, assistance and ensure the smooth turnover of oversight functions to Undersecretary FERRER, JR . All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked or modified, as the case may be. This Order shall take effect immediately and all concerned shall be guided accordingly. AaHTIE (SGD.)
