June 26, 2014 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 045-14 SUBJECT : Operating Hours of Bureau of Customs Offices Handling PEZA Shipments In the exigencies of service and to provide support to operations of economic zones, the operating hours of the Bureau of Customs offices handling PEZA shipments in the various ports in Manila, namely, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila International Container Port, and Port of Manila, and customs offices in Economic Zones located in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon (CALABARZON) are shall be from 7am to 7pm, seven (7) days a week, Mondays to Sundays . The foregoing shall be without prejudice to the determination by the Commissioner of Customs to further adjust the extended operating hours, as may be required by the service. The Bureau of Customs shall coordinate with the Land Bank of the Philippines and other relevant banks, if necessary, to ensure that bank services are made available during the time and days mentioned. Upon issuance of this Order, the extended operating hours shall be immediately implemented in customs offices in the CALABARZON area. For other offices, the extended operating hours shall commence on the date identified by the Commissioner of Customs. For strict compliance. TCcSDE (SGD.) CESAR V. PURISIMA Secretary
