July 18, 2000 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 041-00 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) In the exigency of the service and pursuant to the provision of the Revised Administrative Code of 1987, Book IV, Chapter 2, Section 7, Par. (8) and Chapter 8, Section 40, Undersecretary FLORENCIA G . TARRIELA , is hereby authorized to sign contracts for consultants and personnel services hired by this Department partially or fully funded under grants or loans from foreign sources. Provided, that, consultancy contracts providing for installment or periodic payments of less than P100,000.00 for each periodic payment shall be signed by Assistant Secretary ROBERTO B . TAN . Assistant Secretary ROBERTO B . TAN , is hereby further authorized to sign contracts for other consultants and contractual personnel services hired by this Department. Further authority is delegated to Assistant Secretary Tan to sign contracts for consultants and personnel services that are within the delegated authority of Undersecretary Tarriela in case of the latter's absence. This Order shall take effect immediately and all orders inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (SGD.) JOSE TRINIDAD PARDO Secretary
