Transfer of All EIIB Assets, Records and Books of Accounts to Mr. Rodolfo Ramirez

June 27, 2000 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 038-00 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16) In the exigency of the service, OIC-Director ROMEO A. MIGUEL, of the Economic Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (EIIB), is hereby directed to transfer to the duly designated Supply Accountable Officer, Mr. RODOLFO RAMIREZ, of the Department of Finance (DOF), all assets, records and books of accounts of the EIIB Main Office. The Regional Directors of the EIIB and Accountable Officers shall turn over said assets and other properties as herein below provided: 1. All assets covered by Inventory Receipts/Memorandum Receipts shall be turned over to the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) with the latter being required to take temporary custody over the same in favor of the DOF; 2. All documented seized goods of the EIIB shall be turned over to the District Collector of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) having jurisdiction over the area where the EIIB Regional Office is located, who shall take custody over the seized goods and disposed the same in a manner provided by law; 3. All seized goods without proper documentation shall be temporarily deposited with the EIIB Main Office, the same to be properly acknowledged by the herein designated Supply Accountable Officer; 4. All firearms issued by the EIIB under Inventory Receipts/Memorandum Receipts shall be immediately turned over to Mr. ROGER PERAN, EIIB Supply Accountable Officer, who is directed to account for the same within seven (7) days upon receipt of this Order for immediate turnover to the above-named DOF Supply Accountable Officer; 5. Forest Products and other goods seized for violation of forestry and environmental laws, rules and regulations shall be turned over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR); 6. All other seized goods not covered by Warrant of Seizure and Detention shall, likewise, be turned over to the appropriate agencies concerned (DTI, IPO, etc.); 7. Records pertaining to personnel, intelligence and operations of all regional offices shall be crated and immediately shipped and escorted to EIIB Main Office for safekeeping. aTCAcI Failure to comply with this Order shall be dealt with severely in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
