October 30, 2008 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 030-08 RECONSTITUTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE PERSONNEL CAREER DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (PCDC) Pursuant to Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 10, series of 1989, the Department of Finance Personnel Career Development Committee (PCDC) is hereby reconstituted as follows: Undersecretary GIL S. BELTRAN - Chairperson Undersecretary JEREMIAS N. PAUL, JR. - Member Undersecretary ESTELA V. SALES - Member Undersecretary CRISANTA S. LEGASPI - Member Officer-in-Charge for IFG ROSALIA V. DE LEON - Member The PCDC shall be responsible for the following: 1. Ensure equitable distribution of opportunities for training, scholarships and other career development activities to all personnel of the DOF and its bureaus and attached agencies; 2. Process, screen and recommend to the Secretary for approval, all nominations of the Department, including its Bureaus and attached Agencies, for all foreign and domestic scholarships and training programs, including study leave, seminars, training workshops, study tours, conferences, and those under the category of special missions and other non-study trips, regardless of number of days; 3. Determine and recommend for approval by the Secretary financial entitlements related thereto; and SaCIDT 4. Recommend any revision/s of the guidelines and procedures on scholarship as prescribed by the CSC, for approval by the Secretary. The Personnel Services Division of the Central Administration Office shall act as Secretariat to the PCDC and shall be headed by Director Lourdes Z. Santiago. In case of absence of any member or if on official mission, he/she shall designate alternate signatory to expedite the process of clearance or selection of appropriate nominee/s. All orders, circulars, memoranda contrary to or inconsistent herewith are hereby modified and all concerned shall be guided accordingly. This Order takes effect immediately. (SGD.) MARGARITO B.
