April 24, 2009 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 028-09 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16) In support of the stewardship of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental by the Secretary of Finance for the implementation of the Comprehensive Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (CLEEP) of the Government, Assistant Secretary MA. ELEANOR F. DELA CRUZ, the designated DOF National Focal Person for CLEEP is hereby tasked/authorized to: (1) coordinate with the focal persons in the region and other concerned persons/organizations to ensure implementation of the CLEEP projects/activities in the Steward's area of responsibility. IaAScD (2) enjoin the active participation and involvement of local executives (LCEs)/local government units (LGUs), NGOs/POs, private sector, and the academe in the implementation of CLEEP programs or projects. (3) enjoin the support of DOF offices, bureaus and attached agencies in undertaking complementary/allied/related activities at the national/regional/provincial level. (4) initiate communications, hold meetings, and undertake such other activities and actions as may be necessary for the efficient handling of projects and activities relative thereto. (5) perform such other related tasks as may be directed by the Undersecretary, PDMSG or the Secretary of Finance. Asst. Secretary DELA CRUZ shall be assisted by Mesdames AURORA LUZ D. VILLAVIRAY, Development Management Officer IV, FPPO-DFG, and IMELDA C. MYERS, Intelligence Officer III, CMIO/RIPS.
