Establishing the Local Government Finance and Development Project Management Office (LOGOFIND-PMO)

October 28, 1999 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 025-99 SUBJECT : Establishing the Local Government Finance and Development Project Management Office (LOGOFIND-PMO) Pursuant to Article III, Section 3.01(a) and various provisions of the approved loan agreement between the Republic of the Philippines and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development dated September 8, 1999, the Government through the Department of Finance is mandated to carry out the Local Government Finance and Development (LOGOFIND) Project. cdlex In compliance with the aforementioned provision of the loan agreement, the LOGOFIND-Project Management Office (PMO) is hereby established to facilitate project implementation. The LOGOFIND-PMO with satellite offices in the regions, will manage and implement the LOGOFIND Project and will be working with the Municipal Development Fund Office (MDFO) as its technical arm to operationalize the financing window for eligible urban infrastructure projects. A Project Manager who shall report directly to the designated Project Director shall head the LOGOFIND-PMO with full personnel complement. The satellite offices in the regions will also be established based on the needs of the project and will be housed in the Regional Offices of the Bureau of Local Government Finance of the Department of Finance (BLGF-DOF). To operationalize the LOGOFIND-PMO, personnel complement will be hired based on the approved staffing requirement. Concerned Bureaus, Central and Regional Offices and other operating units of the Department are hereby enjoined to extend maximum support to ensure the immediate and smooth implementation of this Department Order.
