Creating a Technical Working Group to Evaluate the Findings of the LAMP

October 6, 2008 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 025-08 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) Whereas, the tax policy study on national and local land-related taxes and fees which is a significant component of the package of reform measures pursuant to the Land Administration and Management Project, has been completed; HAIDcE Whereas, there is a need to evaluate the findings of said study and develop a consensus within the Department of Finance in respect of the reform proposals being recommended; Whereas, the development of this consensus is necessary to advance the reform proposals on the national and local land-related taxes and fees and ensure the success and sustainability of the LAMP. Now, therefore, be it created as it is hereby created, a Technical Working Group for the abovementioned purpose, composed of the following officials: SEIaHT Chairman Undersecretary Gil S. Beltran Members Director Ma. Lourdes B. Recente, DOF Executive Director Lina D. Isorena, NTRC Executive Director Ma. Presentacion R. Montesa, BLGF Deputy Commissioner Gregorio Cabantac, BIR The TWG shall meet at least twice a month or oftener as may be determined by the Chairman and submit a report on the results of its consensus to the undersigned within the soonest possible time.
