Monitoring and Supervision of the Philippine Tax Computerization Projects in the Bureau of Customs and the Bureau of Internal Revenue

September 10, 1999 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 024-99 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) This has reference to the expiration last December 31, 1998 of the consultancy contract between the Department of Finance and Crown Agents relative to the monitoring and supervision of the Philippine Tax Computerization Projects (PTCP) being undertaken in the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and the need to facilitate the smooth flow of transactions appurtenant thereto. LexLib In this connection, the following personnel are hereby authorized to review, evaluate, and endorse for approval of the duly authorized DOF Undersecretaries, official documents formally endorsed by the Bureaus, covering all legitimate transactions arising from the implementation of the PTCP until its termination on December 31, 1999: NAME OFFICE 1. It is likewise hereby required the submission of a written covering report of at most (2) pages which summarizes the contents of the documents being submitted, duly signed by the designated official/s of Bureaus and their respective Commissioners, together with all the PTCP-related documents that are subject to DOF approval. cdlex This Order takes effect immediately.
