Designation of Amb. Cesar B. Bautista as Point of Contact for the US Millennium Challenge Corp. Policy Improvement Process

May 4, 2009 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 024-09 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16) In the exigency of the service and in line with the country's efforts to qualify and obtain large-scale grant funding from the United States Millennium Challenge Corporation (US MCC) under its Compact Program, Ambassador Cesar B. Bautista is hereby designated as the Point of Contact for the US MCC Policy Improvement Process who will be in charge to, among others, formulate and implement the MCC Policy Improvement Process Plan, provide critical information to the MCC Board, for their consideration, as inputs in evaluating the Compact eligibility of the Philippines and develop a campaign to engage the MCC, its partner indicator institutions and local and international third party stakeholders on the Philippine Government's efforts in addressing corruption/governance issues.
