Creation of Technical Working Group for the ASEM-Grant-Funded Projects

July 26, 2004 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 024-04 CREATION OF TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP FOR THE ASEM-GRANT-FUNDED PROJECTS In the exigencies of public service and pursuant to Sections 4 and 12 of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act" and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, the Technical Working Group for the procurement of the services of an independent audit firm for the ASEM-Grant-Funded Projects (funded under ASEM Grant TF No. 052163 ) is hereby created as follows: Ofelia D. Soquiat Accountant II This Department Member The Technical Working Group shall assist the DOF-Bids and Awards Committee (DOF-BAC) in the review, evaluation and selection of an independent audit firm in accordance with the Guidelines in the Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (issued in January 1997, revised September 1997, January 1999 and May 2002). The Technical Working Group shall endorse for the DOF-BAC's consideration and approval, the results of the selection process. The DOF-BAC (reconstituted under Department Order No. 31-03) shall, in turn, recommend the award of the contract to the Secretary of Finance or his duly authorized representative. All issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with this Department Order are hereby revoked or modified accordingly. This Order takes effect immediately. (SGD.) JUANITA D. AMATONG Secretary
