May 19, 2004 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 020-04 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR THE "STRENGTHENING LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS' EFFECTIVENESS IN POVERTY ALLEVIATION AND SERVICE DELIVERY BY DISSEMINATING LGU GOOD PRACTICE" PROJECT In the exigencies of public service and pursuant to Section 4 of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act" and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, the Selection Committee for the "Strengthening Local Government Units' Effectiveness in Poverty Alleviation and Service Delivery by Disseminating LGU Good Practice" Project (funded under ASEM2 Grant Trust Fund No. 52163) is hereby constituted as follows: NORBERTO G. RECOTER Economist III, International Finance Group This Department The Selection Committee shall assist the DOF-BAC in the review, evaluation and selection of individual consultants deemed most qualified and capable to carry out the requirements for the assignment in accordance with the Guidelines in the Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (issued in January 1997, revised September 1997, January 1999 and May 2002). The Selection Committee shall endorse for the DOF-BAC's consideration and approval, the results of the selection process. The DOF-BAC (reconstituted under DO 31-03) shall, in turn, recommend the award of the contract to the Secretary of Finance or his duly authorized representative. All issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with this Department Order are hereby revoked or modified accordingly. This Order takes effect immediately. (SGD.) JUANITA D. AMATONG Secretary
