Creation of the DOF Steering Committee in Connection with the Extension of the Phase 1 of the Land Administration and Management Project (LAMP)

February 27, 2004 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 016-04 SUBJECT : Creation of the DOF Steering Committee in Connection with the Extension of the Phase 1 of the Land Administration and Management Project (LAMP) In the interest of the service and to ensure an efficient and effective implementation of LAMP 1's extension and pursuant also to DOF Order No. 11-04, the DOF Steering Committee therefore is hereby created with the following composition: Chairperson DOF Undersecretary or Representative Members BLGF Executive Director or Representative, BIR Commissioner or Representative, NTRC Executive Director or Representative The DOF Steering Committee shall oversee the implementation of LAMP 1's extension. For this purpose, it shall require the NTRC, the lead agency of LAMP 1's extension to submit periodic reports of accomplishments and activities thereon. It shall likewise meet periodically to assess the progress of LAMP 1's extension and recommend measures to ensure that the project is carried out in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the DOF Steering Committee shall coordinate with the Presidential Task Force on LAMP and the Project Management Office as regards the progress of LAMP 1's extension. The NTRC shall serve as the Secretariat of the DOF Steering Committee. This Order takes effect immediately. (SGD.) JUANITA D. AMATONG Secretary
