Amendment to DOF Order No. 141-95, As Amended

2005 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO . 015-05 AMENDING DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 141-95, AS AMENDED BY DOF ORDER NO. 32-98, s. 1998, ENTITLED "REVISED RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE ISSUANCE, PLACEMENT, SALE, SERVICE AND REDEMPTION OF TREASURY BILLS AND BONDS UNDER R.A. 245, AS AMENDED" SECTION 1. Section 30, Chapter IV (Treasury Issues and Transfers) of Department Order No. 141-95, as amended by DOF Order No. 32-98, s. 1998, is further amended to read as follows: SEC. 30. Registry of Scripless Securities (ROSS) . The Secretary, through the Bureau of the Treasury, having floated scripless Treasury Bills and Bonds shall record their ownership and transfers in the Registry of Scripless Securities, which is the official registry of ownership of or interest in and transfers of scripless securities floated by the Republic of the Philippines. SECTION 2. Section 32, Chapter IV is further amended to read as follows: SEC. 32. Transfers . Treasury Bills and Bonds may be validly transferred by making appropriate entries in RoSS maintained by the Bureau of the Treasury. Transfer in RoSS has the effect of delivery of such Treasuries to the principal securities account of the purchaser or his designated custodian as appearing in RoSS. SECTION 3. This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation. (SGD.) CESAR V. PURISIMA Secretary
