Requiring DOF Officials and Employees to Submit an Additional Original Copy of Their SALNs

February 25, 2011 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 012-11 SUBJECT : Requiring All Officials and Employees of the Department of Finance and Its Attached Agencies and Instrumentalities to Submit an Additional Original Copy of Their Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth Pursuant to the mandate of the Revenue Integrity Protection Service (RIPS) to conduct lifestyle checks and in order to expedite the conduct of and ensure the confidentiality of its investigations, all officials and employees of the Department of Finance, and its attached agencies and instrumentalities, are required to submit an additional original copy of their Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) to the head of their office. All heads of offices are strictly enjoined to forward the copy of the SALNs of their respective personnel to the Undersecretary for Revenue Operations and Legal Affairs, concurrently OIC-RIPS, together with the list of employees currently employed by their office as certified by the officer in charge. The head of office shall also submit a list of employees in alphabetical order who failed to file their SALNs. The copy of the SALN and list of employees should be submitted within ninety (90) days from the date required by law for the filing of SALNs. Finally, all officials and employees are reminded that they are strictly required to fill in all applicable information and to make a true and detailed statement in their SALNs pursuant to the Rule VIII Implementing the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (Republic Act No. 6713), as amended.
