February 2, 2016 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 009-16 DESIGNATION OF THE CHIEF ECONOMIST AS THE SUPERVISING UNDERSECRETARY FOR THE NATIONAL TAX RESEARCH CENTER In the exigency of service and in addition to his functions as Chief Economist as provided in Department Order No. 36-2013, 1 Undersecretary Gil S. Beltran is hereby designated as the Supervising Undersecretary for the National Tax Research Center (NTRC) on a full-time basis, to provide intellectual and analytical resources to the Secretary of Finance. Undersecretary Beltran shall oversee the formulation of its research agenda and shall have the authority to tap the appropriate people and resources of the NTRC for the effective discharge of his role as Supervising Undersecretary of said attached agency.
