January 27, 2014 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 008-14 GRANT OF INCENTIVES TO DESERVING DOF EMPLOYEES Pursuant to the CSC-approved DOF Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (DOF-PRAISE), providing incentives and interventions to motivate employees and/or groups who have contributed ideas, suggestions, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments and other personal efforts, the following incentives shall be awarded to deserving employees: A. Cash incentive of PhP2,000.00 each for having consistently demonstrated nationalism and patriotism with their perfect attendance based on record of attendance with the Personnel Services Division, to either the Flag Raising or Flag Lowering Ceremony, for the year starting CY 2013, in addition to the provisions of Department Order No. 2-2013 dated January 9, 2013 relative to the "Internal Guidelines on the Observance of the Flag Raising and Flag Lowering Ceremonies in the Department of Finance" pursuant to RA 6713 (Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards of Public Officials and Employees); B. In addition to the award of plaque, the amount of cash incentive is increased from PhP3,000.00 to PhP5,000.00 for retirees for the year CY 2013, and years thereafter, whether under optional or compulsory retirement schemes, as Service Award in recognition of their dedicated service and valuable contribution to the efficient delivery of public service; and aSCDcH C. Non-monetary loyalty incentives, pursuant to par. VI. Types of Incentives, Item 6.1, CSC-approved PRAISE, for those who have completed twenty-five (25) years and up of continuous and satisfactory service in the DOF starting from the time the PRAISE was implemented in June, 2002 until December 31, 2013 and years thereafter in the form of one time grant of wristwatch reckoned with the number of years of service. The PRAISE Committee will issue the implementing rules on the granting of the Baldomero B. Aguinaldo Award in recognition of the outstanding achievements and accomplishments of the men and women in the DOF family. The awardees will receive a citation, incentive and a spot in the Wall of Fame. The General Criteria for the award are as enumerated in the attached Department Order No. 034-2013 dated July 29, 2013. The grant of abovementioned awards shall be done during anniversary celebrations of the DOF, subject to availability of funds, accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
