DOF Department Order No. 007-16

January 19, 2016 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 007-16 With the objective of rationalizing all issuances released by the Department of Finance (DOF) including all bureaus and attached agencies, it is hereby mandated that ALL issuances ( i.e. , Orders, Circulars, etc.) dealing with regulations, policies as well as implementation/interpretation of laws be accordingly collated, summarized and reviewed for consistency and alignment. Following the said review of issuances, the Department as well as the bureaus and attached agencies are directed to condense the number of relevant and applicable issuances by amending to update or by consolidating related issuances. All issuances that are longer applicable or have been superseded by subsequent events or regulations or are deemed irrelevant as of this time are to be repealed. To supervise progress of the review, each of the bureaus and attached agencies shall nominate one (1) representative to act as its official focal person who must hold the rank of at least or equivalent to Director III (SG 27). The name of the nominees and their corresponding contact details shall be submitted to this Office on or before 29 January 2016. CAIHTE The DOF Technical Working Group ("TWG") shall be formed to monitor the implementation of the Order herein as well as to conduct the review all DOF issuances. The nominee of the bureaus and the attached agencies shall submit a monthly written report to the DOF TWG to provide update on their respective rationalization process including therein the percentage of completion and the number of issuances reviewed to date. Submission is to commence on 15 February 2016. The rationalization process of the issuances of the Department as well as that of the bureaus and attached agencies is to be completed on or before 29 May 2016.
