Authorizing Undersecretary Cornelio C. Gison to Sign Certain Documents During the Absence of Undersecretary Nieves L. Osorio

March 5, 2002 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 003-02 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) In the interest of the service, Undersecretary CORNELIO C . GISON is hereby authorized to sign the following documents effective 11 March 2002 until the return of Undersecretary Nieves L. Osorio who will be on official travel to Melbourne, Australia to attend the Training Program on Managing Regulatory Change in Life Insurance and Pensions to be held from 11 to 22 March 2002: Appointments of personnel in the Department of Finance (Office of the Secretary) to all positions except those requiring Presidential appointment; aSIDCT Department Personnel Order designating Officer-In-Charge to discharge the duties and functions of the head of the Division/Office within the Department of Finance (DOF) in the absence of its regular incumbent; Communications addressed to the Department of Budget and Management and the Civil Service Commission, particularly in all matters pertaining to personnel actions and plantilla of personnel; Request for official foreign travel authority (both official and personal) of officials and employees of this Department, including its bureaus and attached agencies except Department Undersecretaries and Heads of Bureaus and Attached Agencies; Travel Authority (both official and personal) and Indorsement to Department of Foreign Affairs (for official travel) of officials and employees of this Department, its Bureaus and Attached Agencies; and ISaTCD Department Personnel Orders for local travels, attendance in local seminars, workshops and other training programs and other personnel matters.
