January 30, 2001 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO . 002-01 PROHIBITING PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES FROM ENTERING INTO CERTAIN KINDS OF OFFICIAL TRANSACTIONS WITH REAL, PRETENDED OR IMAGINARY RELATIVES OF THE SECRETARY In full support of and pursuant to Administrative Order No. 1 of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, all officers and employees of the Department of Finance holding positions of trust and responsibility are prohibited from dealing directly or indirectly with my family, relatives, brother and sisters ( RODOLFO, MINA and RISSA ) or other relations, whether by consanguinity or affinity, and whether real, pretended, or imaginary, in matters relating to contracts where the Government or any of its subdivisions, agencies or instrumentalities is party, or to the procurement or purchase of property, supplies and materials, appointment of government personnel, recommendations for positions, or any other matter calling for action or decision. AHCaED This Order shall be without prejudice to the application of the provisions of Section 5 of Republic Act No. 3019, otherwise known as the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act as well as other similar and relevant laws. Any officer or employee of the Government, including those of the corporations owned and controlled by the same, violating this order shall be dealt with accordingly.
