Designating Undersecretary Gaudencio A. Mendoza Jr. to Oversee the Operations of the Revenue Integrity Protection Service (RIPS)

TO OVERSEE THE OPERATIONS OF THE REVENUE INTEGRITY PROTECTION SERVICE (RIPS) In accordance with Executive Order No. 259 dated December 17, 2003, Undersecretary Gaudencio A. Mendoza, Jr., Legal and Revenue Operations Group, is hereby designated to oversee the operations of the Revenue Integrity Protection Service (RIPS) and to exercise its powers and functions, as expressly mandated under the said executive issuance, pursuant to the instructions, policies and priorities of the Secretary of Finance. CTIEac To effectively carry out the purposes and objectives of the RIPS, Atty. Noel B. Marquez of the Office of the Secretary shall directly assist in its operations and internal administration, particularly in the legal supervision of the gathering of evidence, investigations, and the filing of the appropriate criminal, civil or administrative complaints against erring public officials under RIPS jurisdiction, including its reorganization and reassignment of its personnel to maintain a technically and administratively capable staff. All department orders and issuances inconsistent herewith are revoked or modified accordingly. This Order shall take effect immediately. (SGD.) MARGARITO B. TEVES Secretary
