January 3, 2002 DOF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 001-02 ( Declared Overtaken by Events by D.O. 29-16 ) SUBJECT : Internal Guidelines for Recording Services Rendered in Pursuance of Proclamation No . 129 "Declaring December 24, 2001 as a Special (Non-Working) Day Throughout the Country and for Other Purposes" dated December 05, 2001 The following guidelines shall be observed: 1. Employees who reported to office on December 26, 27 and 28 on regular working hours shall be entitled to the following privileges whichever is applicable: a. Avail of compensatory day off equivalent to number of hours and days employee reported for work subject to confirmation of immediate supervisor; HAEDCT b. For those who rendered more than eight (8) hours and have authority to render overtime services, collect overtime pay for services rendered after regular working hours; c. For those who rendered less than eight (8) hours, there will be no undertime but compensatory day off will only be equivalent to number of hours rendered. 2. Employees who did not report on said dates need not file their application for leave. However, personnel belonging to units required by the Undersecretary for Policy Development Management and Services Group (PDMSG) to report for work but was not able to do shall submit a written explanation to Undersecretary for PDMSG on why they were not able to report for work. ESacHC 3. All other cases not covered by this implementing guideline shall be referred to the Undersecretary for PDMSG through the Director, Central Administration Office.
