Councilor ABSENT: None. DARAGA MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 003-16 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 21-95, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO GRUPONG MAGKAKARNE KAN DARAGA, INC. FRANCHISE TO ESTABLISH, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A CLASS "A" SLAUGHTERHOUSE IN THIS MUNICIPALITY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" Author: Hon. Christopher B. Dalaguit Explanatory Note: Based on the submitted documents, file franchise has converted its status from a corporation to a cooperative but nevertheless retained and maintained its composition, finances and ownership to all the assets of the former including the assumption of the liabilities. The cooperative is now registered with Cooperative Development Authority. Also, the request seems not violate of Section 3 of Ordinance No. 21-95. ITAaHc Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan of Daraga, Albay, in session assembled. SECTION 1. The Title of Ordinance No. 21-95 is hereby amended and now reads: AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO GRUPONG MAGKAKARNE KAN DARAGA MULTI PURPOSE COOPERATIVE TO ESTABLISH, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A CLASS "A" SLAUGHTERHOUSE IN THIS MUNICIPALITY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES; SECTION 2. All other Sections and paragraphs in the body of Ordinance No. 21-95 where the phrase "Grupong Magkakarne kan Daraga, Inc." shall have been found are hereby amended or modified accordingly to read as "Grupong Magkakarne Kan Daraga Multi-Purpose Cooperative".
