BARICUATRO WHEREAS , the Sangguniang Panlalawigan enacted Ordinance No. 2008-10, otherwise known as the "Revenue Code of 2008 of the Province of Cebu"; WHEREAS , due to the change in circumstances, there is a need to amend Section 173 of Ordinance No. 2008-10, to conform to the present situation and to see to it that the delivery of basic health services is at all times available especially to our indigent constituents; NOW, THEREFORE , on motion of Member/Author, Hon. JOSE MARI D. SALVADOR , duly seconded by Member, Hon. VICTORIA COROMINAS-TORIBIO , for the approval of the resolution co-authored by Assistant Majority Floor Leader, Hon. CHRISTOPHER R. BARICUATRO , be it RESOLVED to enact, as it is hereby ENACTED , the following: CEBU PROVINCIAL ORDINANCE NO. 026-16 AMENDING SECTION 173 OF PROVINCIAL ORDINANCE NO. 2008-10, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "REVENUE CODE OF 2008 OF THE PROVINCE OF CEBU" The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cebu , hereby ORDAINS , that: SECTION 1. Title. This Ordinance shall be known as "An Ordinance Amending Section 173 of Provincial Ordinance No. 2008-10, otherwise known as the 'Revenue Code of 2008 of the Province of Cebu'". aDSIHc SECTION 2. Amendment . Section 173 of Ordinance No. 2008-10 shall be amended to read as follows: " Section 173 . Imposition of Provincial Hospital Service Fees." The following schedule of fees is hereby imposed for services of facilities rendered by the Cebu Provincial and District Hospitals and Clinics: 1. Outpatient Department: Consultation Fee: Office Hours: P30.00 After 5pm, weekends, holidays P50.00 BP Consultation P10.00 Nebulization P35.00 Patients who can present Certificate of Indigency duly certified by the Local Social Welfare and Development Officer shall be exempted from payment of charges enumerated in item no. 1 above. 2. Medical Technologist Interns P200.00/student/month The Province of Cebu, may by Executive Order duly issued by the Provincial Governor, implement by suspending, increasing or decreasing the schedule of fees covered in this Section, taking into account the changes in circumstances, such as but not limited to inflation, deflation, extraordinary increase or decrease of prices of particular commodities such as fuel and the like, and other circumstances, and taking into account the economic and social status of payees and/or users. SECTION 3. Separability Clause . If any part, section or provision of this Ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional, no other parts, sections or provisions thereof shall be affected hereby. SECTION 4. Repealing Clause . All ordinances, executive orders, memoranda and other local issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance, are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. SECTION 5.
