May 28, 1953 CBP MEMORANDUM TO : Airline and Shipping Companies and Authorized Security Dealers To facilitate identification of designated representatives of airline and shipping companies and authorized security dealers following up exchange control matters with the Exchange Control Department, this Department will issue an identification card on our new form to one designated representative of each airline and shipping company endorsing to this Department applications for license to purchase peso tickets for international travel and to one designated representative of each authorized security dealer. The designated representatives of airline and shipping companies in whose favor identification cards may be issued, may be authorized to follow up in this Department only applications for license to purchase peso tickets for international travel endorsed to this Department by their respective companies. Similarly, designated representatives of authorized security dealers will be allowed to follow up in this Department only applications for securities transactions endorsed to this Department by their respective companies. LibLex In order that these Identification cards may be issued, airline and shipping companies endorsing applications for license to purchase peso tickets to this Departments and authorized security dealers are requested to submit to this Department in writing the full names of their respective designated representatives together with three sample signatures and two clear passport photographs at least one square inch in size of such representatives.
