March 1, 1962 CBP MEMORANDUM TO : Authorized Agents and Authorized Security Dealers It is hereby advised that, in the light of Central Bank Circular No. 133, dated January 21, 1962, the following transactions in securities may be effected without prior specific licensing by the Central Bank or by Authorized Security Dealers on behalf of the Central Bank. 1) The sale, assignment, encumbrance, transfer or delivery of securities a resident of the Philippines to a non-resident; 2) The sale of securities in the Philippines or for delivery in the Philippines by nonresident; the purchase by a resident of any securities owned by a nonresident; and the sale in the Philippines by a resident of any securities for or owned by a nonresident; LLphil 3) The export from and import into the Philippines of securities, including, whenever necessary, the change of registry of such securities from Philippine registry to United States registry or vice versa.
