June 14, 1991 CBP CIRCULAR LETTER TO : All Authorized Securities Dealers/Brokers and Custodian Banks Pursuant to Monetary Board Resolution No. 453 dated April 26, 1991 and consistent with Circular No. 1285 dated May 2, 1991, all concerned are enjoined to observe the following guidelines: 1. Submission to the Central Bank, thru FEOID, on the day following date of actual deposit, a written advice providing the following information: a. STD Registration Document No/s.; b. No. of shares and Date Sold; c. Price per Share or Rate of Dividend/Share; d. Net Amount of Sales Proceeds/Cash Dividends; e. Name of depository bank; f. Date of placement and maturity date; g. Nature/kind of deposit; and h. Interest rate, which must be fixed and predetermined. 2. Filing of a duly accomplished application form for remittance of sales proceeds or cash dividend (CBP FEOID STD Form No. 2a or 2D Revised May 1991) including interest earned thereon signed by the foreign investor/custodian bank or his duly authorized securities dealer/broker. 3. The validity period of the CB-authority to remit sales proceeds, cash dividends and/or interest earned on foreign investment in CB approved securities shall be fifteen (15) days from date of issue. cdlex (SGD.)
