July 16, 1984 CBP CIRCULAR LETTER TO : All Banks and Non-Bank Financial Intermediaries Please be informed that the consolidation of the Rural Bank of Lezo, Inc. and the Rural Bank of Madalag, Inc. of the Province of Aklan, to be known as the United Rural Bank of Panay, Inc. was approved by the Monetary Board on January 6, 1983 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, on June 15, 1984. The Certificate of Authority to Operate of the new rural bank was issued by the Central Bank on July 15, 1984. As a consequence of the consolidation, the corporate personalities of the two banks have been dissolved. The former Rural Bank of Lezo will be the head office of the United Rural Bank of Panay, Inc. and the former Rural Bank of Madalag, its Madalag Branch. (SGD.) JOSE B. FERNANDEZ, JR. Governor
