February 4, 1983 CBP CIRCULAR LETTER TO : All Commercial Banks This is to reiterate the instruction in the Memorandum to All Commercial Banks dated December 13, 1982 requiring all commercial banks to surrender on or before March 1, 1983, Treasury Bonds, Treasury Notes and PWED Bonds held as reserves against deposit and deposit substitute liabilities and marginal deposits for import L/Cs, duly assigned in favor of the Central Bank, for credit to their securities accounts. The above Memorandum implements the book-entry system for transactions in government securities eligible for legal reserves and marginal deposits authorized under Monetary Board Resolution No. 2176 dated November 26, 1982. dctai (SGD.)
