November 14, 1983 CBP CIRCULAR LETTER TO : All Banks, Authorized Foreign Exchange Dealers, CB-Registered Foreign Exchange Earners, Airlines, Shipping Companies, Travel Agents and Tour Operators, Hotels, Insurance Companies, Service Exporters/ Overseas Contractors, Firms Issuing/Servicing Credit Cards, Accredited Government Securities Dealers, Authorized Security Dealers and Stock Transfer Agents and Registrars, Ministers, Provincial Governors, Provincial and City Treasurers Pursuant to Monetary Board Resolution Nos. 1632 and 1718 dated September 30, 1983 and October 14, 1983, respectively, a Manual of Regulations on Non-Trade (Invisibles) Foreign Exchange Transactions has been adopted as a code of Central Bank Regulations which shall be cited as the authority effective October 21, 1983 for enjoining compliance with the rules embodied therein and the basis for the imposition of sanctions for any violation of its provinces. Regulatory issuances on foreign exchange non-trade (invisibles) transactions as of September 30, 1983 are repealed or superseded by the Manual. Entities/offices herein addressed are entitled to a copy each free. Additional copies may be requested at cost from the Publications and Information Staff of the Department of Personnel, Central Bank. The Manual is also available to the public at cost. (SGD.)
