January 28, 2005 Ordinance from the Minutes of the Regular Session by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Cauayan, Isabela, Held on January 28, 2005 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall. CAUAYAN CITY ORDINANCE NO. 003-05 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER II, ARTICLE P, SECTION I OF THE REVENUE CODE OF THE CITY OF CAUAYAN, ISABELA WHEREAS, the crafted Revenue Code of the City of Cauayan is a great achievement consonant to its sincere desire to evolve a progressive system of taxation which is conformably aligned to one of the fundamental principles of local taxation; WHEREAS, this piece of legislation ensure the effective and efficient collection of revenue and other charges as source of funds to maintain vital projects of the City Government; WHEREAS, there is a need to amend Chapter II, Article P, Section 1 of the Revenue Code which is the Annual Fixed Tax of every delivery made by a truck or van. This is to conform with the provision on Section 151 of Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREFORE, upon unanimous accord of all the members present in session duly assembled, it was; RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, to approve the Amendatory Ordinance, to wit; SECTION I. Imposition of Tax. In addition to the Annual Fixed Tax imposed by the Provincial Government, there shall be collected an Annual Fixed Tax for every truck, van or any vehicle used by manufacturers, producers, wholesalers, dealers or retailers in the delivery or distribution of distilled spirits, fermented liquors, soft drinks, cigar and cigarettes and other products as may be determined by the Sangguniang Panlungsod, to sales outlets, or consumers, whether directly or indirectly, within the City in the amount of: For trailer - 750.00 10 Wheeler - 500.00 Forward/van - 300.00 Elf - 200.00 SECTION II. This Amendatory Ordinance shall take effect upon approval. Enacted: January 28, 2005. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to furnished copies of this ordinance to Honorable Caesar G. Dy, City Mayor, Mr. Francisco R.
