Igtiben SB Member CAINTA MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 027-14 Introduced by: Committee on Rules & Ordinance chaired by Councilor Ace Servillon AN ORDINANCE BANNING THE APPLICATION FOR TAX DECLARATION AND TITLING OF RIVER AND CREEK EASEMENTS BY PRIVATE ENTITIES WHEREAS, the municipality of Cainta is conducting a continuing clean-up program to all rivers and creeks within the municipality to restore to its original form; clean and usable. These efforts may be derailed however if we allow the application for tax declaration and titling of river and creek easements by private entities. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF CAINTA, RIZAL IN A SESSION DULY ASSEMBLED THAT: SECTION 1. Coverage. All rivers and creeks within the jurisdiction of Cainta are banned from application for tax declaration and titling of river and creek easements by private entities. SECTION 2. Prohibited Acts. All concerned agency/department are prohibited from conducting an application for tax declaration and titling of river and creek easements by private entities. SECTION 3. Penalty. Penalty for the violation of this Ordinance is punishable by applicable laws. SECTION 4. Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect upon approval. ENACTED: September 29, 2014. Let copies of this Ordinance be furnished all concerned offices for their information, guidance and implementation. I HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the foregoing Ordinance which was duly enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan during its Regular Session held on September 29, 2014. (SGD.) BLARDONI C.
