Garcia General Manager GARCIA & SONS, INC. 311 San Nicolas Street Surigao City S i r : This refers to your letter dated January 22, 1996 requesting this Office to instruct the City Treasurer of Surigao to cease and desist from collecting local tax imposed on businesses engaged in the distribution and sale of oil, gasoline and other petroleum products. In this connection, enclosed is the copy of the 1st Indorsement of even date addressed to the City Treasurer or Surigao wherein this Bureau instructed the City Treasurer to cease and desist from collecting any local taxes imposed on businesses engaged in the production, manufacture, refining, distribution or sale or oil, gasoline and other petroleum products.
