March 29, 2000 BUREAU OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE OPINION Ms. Rachel Sanchez Volunteer-01351 Graft Free Philippines Crusade Against Graft & Corruption Jaycee Senate Quezon City M a d a m : This refers to your letter dated October 14, 1999, informing about the alleged undeclared machineries and equipment of Mikey's Restaurant owned by Mikey's Philippine Corporation since 1994, situated in Banawe corner Roxas Streets, Quezon City. In this regard, enclosed is a copy of the 3rd Indorsement dated January 28, 2000 of the City Assessor of Quezon City informing this Bureau that per ocular inspection conducted on October 18, 1999, "the aforesaid restaurant had already closed and ceased operation allegedly due to bankcruptcy. . . .
