October 11, 2000 BUREAU OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE OPINION 1st Indorsement Respectfully returned to the City Assessor, Tagaytay City, his within letter dated August 24, 2000 requesting authority that the forms listed hereunder be revised in order to conform with the computerization project being undertaken in said city, viz: 1. Tax Declarations 2. Notice of Revised Assessment 3. Assessment Roll 4. Journal of Assessment Transaction (JAT) It appears that the abovementioned request is being made in connection with the general revision of real property assessments being undertaken in that city to take effect in the year 2001 and the computerization of real property and assessments data. In this connection, please be informed that the proposed Regulations prescribing the use of the revised assessment forms has already been submitted to the Secretary of Finance for his review and approval/signature. Accordingly, this Bureau interposes no objection on the use of the abovementioned forms as revised by that Office, in the meantime that the said Regulations is yet to be approved/signed by the Secretary of Finance. It is, however, understood that, upon approval of the same, the assessment forms that will be used by that Office should conform with what has been prescribed thereof. Be guided accordingly. (SGD.)
